About

Hyperbaric Solutions is a physician-owned hyperbaric oxygen therapy clinic in Camas, Washington, serving patients from the Vancouver and Portland area. The clinic's site names Dr. Benjamin Stumpf, D.O., who is board certified in family and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. It accepts patient referrals from other physicians and lists FDA-approved indications such as non-healing wounds and complications of radiation therapy, along with other uses including concussion, stroke and post-COVID recovery. Planning your visit

Treatments typically last one to two hours, and a patient's healthcare provider may recommend longer sessions. The clinic describes a typical plan of about 90 minutes a day on one to five days a week, with more days for more significant cases, and some patients receive two treatments a day to reduce travel. The operating practice says the total number of sessions depends on the condition: some need only one or two, while others, such as radiation damage, may need 30 or more. Patients sit or recline in a private chamber and may read, listen to music, meditate or nap during treatment. Pressurization at the start and depressurization at the end each take about 10 to 20 minutes; ears may plug and pop as the pressure changes, and a technician guides patients through ways to equalize ear pressure. A clinical staff member attends patients throughout each session, physicians review progress once a week, and there is no recovery period after a session.
