Planning your visit
Arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in. Bring photo identification, insurance information, medications and records related to your wound. Keep the wound clean and covered unless your provider advises otherwise. Allow about two hours for an HBOT visit, including 90 minutes of treatment plus pressurization and depressurization. TV, movies or music are available during treatment, and staff help with ear-pressure equalization. The center can help with referral and scheduling questions; requirements depend on your insurance plan and type of care.
