Planning your visit
A referral is not always necessary. The clinic may request one for some insurance-covered indications and may ask for relevant medical records.
Patients change into the clinic’s provided 100% cotton scrubs or a gown before treatment. A technician checks your vital signs, discusses symptoms and helps with ear clearing. TV streaming is available, but personal items such as headphones, phones and books stay outside the chamber; glasses require approval from the safety and medical directors. Sessions generally last one or two hours depending on the plan. A parent or guardian is recommended to accompany young children. If you are concerned about claustrophobia, the clinic encourages a visit to see its chambers before scheduling.
