Planning your visit
Prepare a list of prescription medicines, over-the-counter drugs and supplements for the HBOT provider. Tell the team if you feel unwell, since colds, flu or stomach viruses may delay treatment. Leave personal items at home and avoid makeup, fragrances, hairspray, metal items and flammable or heat-producing materials before treatment. Sessions last 90 minutes to two hours, usually once daily five days a week, with the treatment plan individualized. The team provides TV, movies or music, guides ear-pressure equalization and monitors you during the session.
