Planning your visit
Print and complete the relevant patient forms before arriving. For the first appointment, arrive 15 minutes early and bring your allergy list, medication list and insurance card; a physician reviews your history, health and wound status. HBOT sessions usually take about two hours. Eat beforehand. Cotton scrubs are provided; avoid perfume, lotion, makeup, nail polish and hair products. A technician stays in the room with a physician nearby, and you may watch a movie, listen to music or nap. Staff can assist patients with mobility needs. Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice; contact the team if you develop cold or flu symptoms before treatment.
