Planning your visit

Appointments can be requested by phone with the Shreveport center or through an online appointment request form for its providers. Patients are screened before hyperbaric treatment to make sure it is safe for them, and each session is closely monitored. Treatment uses 100% oxygen at higher-than-normal air pressure in a pressurized chamber, with the patient seated in a lounge-type chair; patients can relax, read or sleep during treatment. The center's physicians are available during regular hours and after hours if needed.
