Shreveport Hyperbaric & Wound Care Center is a privately owned outpatient practice for acute, chronic and hard-to-heal wounds. Founded in 1998 by Dr. Gary Mazzanti, it combines hyperbaric medicine with nutritional, diabetic and patient-caregiver counseling.

Planning your visit
The clinic accepts self-referrals and referrals from physicians and hospitals. Allow about 90 minutes for the first visit, which includes a medical-history review, examination and wound evaluation. Wear comfortable clothes and bring all medications and insurance information. Bring your shoes if you think they caused the wound. The team explains your individual treatment plan and may share information with your primary-care physician.
