Treatment begins with an initial consultation in which the medical director reviews the patient's medical history and determines whether HBOT is appropriate.

The initial consultation typically lasts 30–45 minutes and includes a review of medical history, a physical examination and a discussion of treatment options. After it, the team verifies insurance coverage, obtains pre-authorization and completes medical clearance, which may include lab work or imaging. Treatments are usually given 4–5 times a week, Monday through Friday, and most courses run 20–40 sessions depending on the condition. Sessions take about 110 minutes; allow 2–2.5 hours at the facility. Check in 15 minutes early at Suite 140; treatment is across the hall in Suite 120. Bring photo ID, insurance information and a medication list; for the first appointment, also bring any relevant medical records or imaging. Patients wear only the provided 100% cotton scrubs or gown, without underwear. Eat a light meal, avoid alcohol for 4 hours beforehand, and arrive without makeup, lotions, perfumes, hair products or deodorant. Electronic and battery-powered devices (including phones and hearing aids), watches, jewelry and other metal objects, lighters, matches or flammable materials, contact lenses (glasses are allowed), wigs or hairpieces with metal clips and skin patches are not allowed in the chamber; personal items are secured in a locker. Staff monitor and communicate by intercom; TV and music are available. Tell the team about illness or congestion before treatment. Give at least 24 hours’ cancellation notice; otherwise a booking fee applies.
