A provider diagnosis and UVA physician evaluation are required before treatment; patients and providers may call the center directly.

UVA describes two-hour sessions on weekdays, typically 20–50 visits depending on diagnosis. Patients or providers may call directly, but a provider diagnosis and evaluation by UVA physicians are required before treatment. UVA states it does not offer HBOT for off-label diagnoses.
