Planning your visit
Before HBOT, the team takes a medical history and performs a physical examination; chest X-rays or lab work may also be needed. Cotton garments are provided for treatment. You can read, watch television, sleep or listen to music during the session. Most treatments last about two hours, with longer sessions possible for acute conditions. Outpatients typically schedule treatment once a day, four days a week; the wound and hyperbaric team monitors your response and determines the number of sessions. Free weekday valet parking is available at the main hospital entrance and the Greenbrier Road entrance.
