Planning your visit
Allow about two hours for your first visit and bring all your medications. Physicians, nurses and technicians assess your health and wound; blood tests, X-rays or blood-flow tests may be needed. If you have diabetes and the visit falls at a usual mealtime, bring a healthy snack. HBOT is typically scheduled for two hours, five days per week, with the total number set for your condition. A provider examines each HBOT patient before and after chamber sessions.
