Planning your visit
Visits are scheduled by appointment. At your first visit, the team evaluates your wound and overall health, discusses your daily routine and develops a personalized plan. Bring medical records, your insurance card, a medication list and an allergy list. The center provides treatment instructions after this exam and updates your regular doctor on progress. Tell the team before treatment if you are ill, and report medication changes during care. A provider must evaluate you before HBOT. Sessions last 90 minutes to two hours, with physician oversight and trained technicians; a TV is available during treatment.
