Planning your visit

Physician referrals are not necessary; patients can call the center to schedule a wound or hyperbaric evaluation.

The center coordinates with a patient's other healthcare providers to form an interdisciplinary care team. Hyperbaric consultations are held with a certified hyperbaric technologist, a registered nurse and a hyperbaric physician. Because treatment is given at 2.0 or 2.4 ATA, an EKG and chest X-ray are required before hyperbaric treatment begins. The center says it follows NFPA 99 chapters 14 and 20 for hyperbaric safety and applies the same standards to cash-pay patients.
