Planning your visit

The first visit includes a wound evaluation, medical-history review and, when needed, circulation tests. HBOT sessions take about two hours, typically five days a week for four to six weeks; staff determine your course. A hospital gown is provided. Leave cosmetics, perfume, hair products, deodorant, wigs, jewelry and electronic devices outside the chamber. Tell the technologist about all medications, including non-prescription drugs. During treatment you can watch television or a movie, or nap.
