Planning your visit
No physician referral is needed for consultation. Insurance-covered treatment may require coordination with the referring physician and supporting documentation.
Start with a consultation and in-person medical evaluation. A physician reviews your history, examines you and coordinates the plan with your other doctors. At treatment visits, change into cotton scrubs; expect about 90 minutes in the chamber plus compression and decompression time. You can read, watch a movie or rest, and speak to staff through a two-way intercom. A trained technician checks on you during each session, and the physician reassesses your progress throughout the course.
