Planning your visit

Patients may call directly to request a hyperbaric consultation, or their primary care provider may refer them. Treatment is prescribed after evaluation.

Bring your insurance card and lists of allergies and all medications, vitamins and supplements. Arrive 10–15 minutes before your first wound-care assessment; for HBOT, allow 30 minutes before treatment. Staff can help with transfers, including with lift equipment, and parking is available outside. HBOT uses provided cotton clothing; cosmetics, perfume, hair products, deodorant, wigs and jewelry are not allowed in the chamber. A registered nurse monitors you throughout and helps with ear-pressure equalization. Treatment typically includes about 90 minutes in the chamber and about two hours onsite. Courses commonly involve 30–40 weekday visits, individualized by the provider.
