Planning your visit
Most courses involve 10–40 weekday visits, each requiring about 2–2.5 hours at the center, depending on your plan. The department is on the second floor at Reception 2K. Before entering the chamber, change into the supplied cotton hospital gown and leave electronics, jewelry, hearing aids and other personal items outside. Avoid cosmetics and hair products; the center asks patients to avoid lotions, creams, oils and deodorant for 12 hours beforehand. Tell staff if you have cold or flu symptoms or difficulty clearing your ears. A hyperbaric specialist stays in contact throughout treatment, and you can watch videos or listen to music or recorded books.
