Planning your visit
An outside referral is not always needed. A prescription is required; patients who contact the clinic directly can be evaluated by its staff physician, who may prescribe HBOT.
Complete the emailed intake paperwork before your first appointment and arrive 20 minutes early with it; arrive 40 minutes early if you will complete forms onsite. For follow-up treatments, arrive 10 minutes early. The clinic supplies cotton scrubs and prohibits phones, lighters and electronic devices in the chamber. Its FAQ asks patients to eat within two hours before treatment. Most sessions last 90–120 minutes. Staff provide ear-pressure guidance, monitor you and maintain communication throughout; you can watch a movie, listen to music or rest.
