Planning your visit

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy at the center is prescribed by its physicians, and trained technicians manage the chambers. According to a patient article on the health system's site, patients change into a 100% cotton medical gown and lie on a table that slides into a clear chamber roughly 7 feet long. They breathe normally during treatment and may watch television or listen to music, and a therapist can see and speak with them the whole time. A typical session lasts up to two hours, after which technicians slowly bring the chamber back to normal pressure.
