Planning your visit
Patients receive a complete treatment plan before HBOT begins. During each session the patient breathes 100% oxygen in a clear acrylic chamber and can watch television or rest quietly. Treatments are given daily, Monday through Friday, and each appointment typically takes about two hours from start to finish. Most patients need between 20 and 40 treatments.
