Planning your visit
A physician referral is preferred but is not always required. Patients may contact the center directly; an HBOT referral can help with insurance authorization and coordination.
Bring relevant records and imaging, your insurance card, photo ID, medication and allergy lists, and questions for the care team. A caregiver may accompany you for wound-care education. For HBOT, arrive early for intake and safety orientation; tell staff about claustrophobia, sinus congestion or ear pain beforehand. Eat a normal meal and stay hydrated. Wear comfortable clothes; the center provides cotton treatment attire and secure storage for electronics and jewelry. Avoid lotions, perfume, hairspray and oil-based products before treatment. Staff teach ear-pressure equalization and monitor you continuously; television is available during the session. The facility has a first-floor accessible entrance and free parking.
