Planning your visit
At your first visit, staff evaluate the wound, review your medical history and order any necessary tests. Hyperbaric sessions last about two hours and typically take place five days a week for four to six weeks. A hospital gown is provided; cosmetics, perfume, hair products, deodorant, wigs, jewelry and electronic devices are not allowed in the chamber. Tell the technologist about all medications, including non-prescription drugs. You may watch television, a movie or rest during treatment. From Kaahumanu Avenue, turn onto Maui Lani Parkway, pass the first traffic light and take the first left into the clinic parking lot.
