Planning your visit

A physician referral is helpful but not always required; the clinic accepts self-referred patients, though some insurance plans may require a referral.

Patients can request an appointment online or call the Lawrenceville clinic. They should bring photo ID, insurance cards, a current medication list and relevant medical records or imaging, plus a referral letter if their insurance requires one, and arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork. At least 24 hours' notice is requested to cancel or reschedule. Onsite parking is available; accessibility needs can be discussed when scheduling. Visits are in person; patients can ask whether virtual follow-up consultations are available. Before the first HBOT session, the clinical team reviews the patient's medical history and completes a physical assessment. Patients wear 100% cotton clothing provided by staff and remove prohibited items such as electronics or flammable materials. During treatment the patient lies in a clear, pressurized chamber with a technician present throughout; sessions last about 90 minutes. Afterward, staff help the patient out of the chamber and monitor them briefly before they leave. The clinic says most wound-healing protocols involve 20–40 sessions, typically once daily, five days per week, with the exact number set by the physician. Home care instructions are provided after each visit. For urgent, non-life-threatening wound concerns after clinic hours, patients can leave a message for the on-call team.
