Planning your visit
HBOT starts with a physician consultation with Dr. Olayemi Osiyemi to discuss goals and create a personalized treatment plan.
Each session usually lasts about 90 minutes, and the clinic recommends one treatment a day, Monday to Friday. The physician on staff decides how many treatments are needed; the clinic says the course depends on the patient's condition and response and that most patients receive 40 to 60 treatments. Patients can talk to the therapist over an intercom at any time during the session and may sleep, listen to music or watch a show. As the chamber is pressurized, a trained technician helps with the feeling of fullness in the ears.
