Planning your visit

Self-referrals are accepted unless insurance requires a referral. A clinic physician consultation and prescription are required before HBOT.

At the initial consultation, a hyperbaric physician reviews your history, performs an examination and discusses treatment options; chronic wounds receive a detailed assessment and photographs for progress tracking. Sessions usually last about two hours. The clinic provides clean cotton clothing for the chamber. Leave cosmetics, perfume, hair products, deodorant, wigs and jewelry outside, and tell the technician about all medications and any cold or flu symptoms or concerns. Technicians help with ear-pressure changes. During treatment you can watch television or movies, listen to music, meditate or sleep.
