A prior consultation and clinical assessment are required before services begin. Care starts with a complimentary consultation and facility tour, where staff review health history and goals and then design a personalized protocol. The clinic also offers a separate comprehensive consultation made up of two appointments of about 45 minutes each, including a non-invasive health scan and a review of the findings. Before the first session, staff explain the chamber and the pressurization process and walk patients through ear-equalization techniques. A standard session lasts about 60 to 90 minutes, including pressurization and depressurization, and staff monitor each session; patients can rest, read, listen to music or watch a movie. The number of sessions depends on the condition and goals; the clinic says protocols for chronic conditions may run 20 to 40 sessions or more, and its comprehensive multi-level programs typically start at 40 sessions. Patients are asked to wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and to avoid perfumes, lotions, hair products and synthetic fabrics; synthetic fabrics and personal electronics are removed before entering the chamber. Tele-health consultations are available for people who cannot visit in person. Appointments must be scheduled in advance, and at least 24 hours' notice is requested to cancel or reschedule; a cancellation fee may apply.
