Planning your visit
Patients can make an appointment without a physician referral. HMO patients need primary-care approval for insurance purposes; some treatments may require prior authorization.
The care plan is determined during evaluation and may be coordinated with the patient’s regular physician. Sessions last 90 minutes to two hours. Patients change into clinic-provided cotton scrubs with their own cotton underwear and socks, and remove jewelry, electronic devices, contact lenses and flammable or petroleum-based products. Staff continuously monitor the session, with communication available through an intercom.
