Planning your visit
HBOT starts with a clinical review of your health history, medications, current health and treatment goals. Tell the team about any changes before a session. A technician reviews the safety checklist, helps with positioning and ear equalization, and remains in the room with continuous visual and voice communication, with onsite medical-provider oversight. Depending on your plan, treatment lasts 60, 90 or 120 minutes; you can watch TV, listen to music or rest. Follow the team’s preparation instructions: approved scrubs may be provided, and phones and other non-approved items cannot enter the chamber.
