Desert Moon Hyperbarics and Wellness is a Las Vegas wellness center co-founded by Janelle and Cory Ardizzone, with Dr. Jerry Cattelane as medical director. Planning your visit
Clients book sessions online or through the clinic, and session length and frequency follow a personalized plan. The clinic says HBOT sessions typically last about 30 to 90 minutes depending on the plan and that many people start with a few sessions per week; its HBOT guide says most clients attend three to five times per week. The guide asks clients to stay well hydrated, eat a light meal and avoid caffeine for several hours before a session, and not to wear lotions, oils, perfumes or hair products. Jewelry, electronics and metal items are not allowed in the chamber, and appropriate clothing is provided if needed. During the session clients can relax, nap or listen to music; each session includes compression, treatment and decompression phases, and most people return to normal activities right away.
