Planning your visit
A consultation with a trained hyperbaric clinician is required before starting care. The team reviews your health history, safety considerations and goals, develops an individual protocol, and confirms whether a referral or prescription is needed. You receive an email guide on clothing, what to bring and ear-pressure techniques; the FAQ recommends comfortable cotton clothing approved for the chamber. At arrival, a technician explains the equipment and communication system. Staff can pause or slow pressurization if you are uncomfortable. Most protocols allow 60–90 minutes at pressure, plus compression and decompression; you can read, meditate, listen to music or nap, and communicate with staff throughout. Pediatric HBOT is considered case by case when clinically appropriate and supervised.
