The Magnolia Wound and Hyperbaric Center of Excellence is a department of Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, offered in conjunction with Shared Health Services, Inc. It focuses on chronic non-healing wounds, including those linked to diabetes, poor circulation and vascular disease, and lists arterial, diabetic, pressure and venous stasis ulcers, burns and problem surgical wounds among the conditions it treats. Its physicians and nurses work with each patient's primary care physician. Hyperbaric treatment uses a chamber filled with 100% oxygen at a pressure above one atmosphere.

Planning your visit
Hyperbaric sessions usually last about two hours; during a session, patients may listen to music, watch TV, talk with family or nap. The wound care team coordinates with each patient's primary care physician and expects patients to follow treatment instructions, track their progress and attend scheduled appointments. The center is on the first floor of the main hospital building, inside Entrance F.
