Planning your visit

Sessions can be booked by phone or online. A credit card is required to hold a med spa appointment, and changes need 48 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Before treatment, patients complete a short medical checklist and consent form, and staff check blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen level. Each session lasts 60–90 minutes in a glass-topped chamber where patients can sit up or lie down, listen to music or use their phone, and talk with staff throughout; oxygen is given by mask or nasal cannula. Pressurization takes over ten minutes and depressurization about 10 minutes. The clinic recommends at least five 60-minute treatments; sessions can be done once or twice a day, at least 6 hours apart. Patients are asked to wear loose, comfortable clothing and no perfume, makeup or hairspray, and may bring water into the chamber to stay hydrated; prescription medication should not be taken directly before treatment. The clinic lists severe claustrophobia, COPD, pacemakers, uncontrolled hypertension, COVID-19 infection or symptoms, and pregnancy as reasons not to have HBOT. Patients who see a specialist or are under care for a health issue or surgery will likely need medical clearance from their provider first, and anyone with congestion or sinus issues should postpone treatment.
